Title: General Jurisdiction Over Freight Forwarder Service | |
Abstract: This action gives notice of the FHWA's general jurisdiction over all segments of the freight forwarding industry (not just household good freight forwarders), in accordance with the ICC Termination Act of 1995, proposes changes to existing regulations to comport with those mandated by Congress, and clarifies the FHWA's jurisdiction over freight forwarders in other areas. This action has been transferred to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under RIN 2126-AA25. | |
