Abstract: The Comprehensive Habitat Amendment identifies essential fish habitat (EFH) for the shrimp, red drum, snapper-grouper, coastal migratory pelagics, coral, coral reefs, and live/hard bottom resources, spiny lobster, golden crab, sargassum, and calico scallop fisheries of the South Atlantic Region. EFH-habitat areas of particular concern are established and modified to reduce or eliminate the impact of fisheries on EFH. | |
