Title: List of Fisheries for 2001 
Abstract: The list of fisheries, published pursuant to section 118 of the Marine Mammal Protection Act, classifies all U.S. commercial fisheries into 1 of 3 categories based on the level of incidental serious injury and mortality to marine mammals. Participants in fisheries placed in category I, II or III are subject to different regulatory requirements under 50 CFR 229.
