Title: International Matchmaking Organizations | |
Abstract: This rule requires international matchmaking organizations doing business in the United States to provide certain immigration information to any person recruited for matchmaking through these entities. This provision implements section 652 of the Illegal Reform an Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, Public Law 104-208. This rule is necessary to deter fraudulent marriages and the exploitation of recruits by international matchmaking organizations. | |
