Title: ●Fish and Seafood Promotion Act 
Abstract: The Fish and Seafood Act of 1986 was implemented in 1989. The regulations were removed during the 1990s. The regulations provide Secretarial oversight of any petition for seafood specific councils to be set up. All funds come from industry and are reimbursed to the Government for any activity other than salaries performed by a Government employee. The rule provides the mechanism for setting up a council, its charter and subsequent operations.
