Statement of Need: Oil and coal-fired electric utility steam generating units were added (December 20, 2000) to the list of source categories to be regulated under section 112 of the Clean Air Act, as amended. On January 30, 2004, EPA proposed to remove oil- and coal-fired electric utility steam generating units from the list so that they could be regulated under section 111 of the Clean Air Act. |
