Title: ●Special Immigrant Juvenile Petitions 
Abstract: This rule will provide clear guidance for USCIS adjudicators and petitioners regarding the procedural and interpretative issues encountered following the amendments mandated by Congress, and will enable juvenile aliens who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned and placed in State custody by a juvenile court, to obtain special immigrant status. Such status will enable these juveniles to be placed into more stable environment.
