Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determinations and Critical Habitat Designation for Two Southwest Spring Snails (Pyrgulopsis Bernardina and P. Trivialis)
Abstract: We will make determinations regarding listing two southwest springsnails under the Endangered Species Act: The Three Forks springsnail (Pyrgulopsis trivialis), which occurs only at two springs in eastern Arizona, and the San Bernardino springsnail (Pyrgulopsis bernardina), which is limited to one population in southeastern Arizona and one in Mexico. We will also make determinations regarding the designation of critical habitat for these species. Both species are current candidates for listing under the ESA.
