Title: ●Test Procedures for Residential Clothes Washers | |
Abstract: Section 302 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 amends the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to require that test procedures for all covered products (including residential clothes washers) be reviewed at least once every seven years. A separate test procedure rulemaking for residential clothes washers for standby mode and off mode is scheduled for completion in June 2010. Both rulemakings are in coordination with the energy conservation standards rulemaking for the same product that is scheduled for completion in December 2011. | |
