Title: Flammability Standard for Upholstered Furniture | |
Abstract: On October 23, 2003, the Commission issued an ANPRM to expand the scope of the ongoing upholstered furniture flammability proceeding to include both cigarette and small open flame-ignited fires. The Commission published an NPRM in March 2008 and received public comments. The Commission's proposed standard would not require FR chemicals in fabrics or fillings.
