Title: Bassinets
Abstract: The Commission will propose a consumer product safety standard for bassinets. The proposed standard is expected to be based on ASTM F 2194, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Bassinets and Cradles, with possible changes or additions. The proposal is one of a series of standards for durable infant or nursery products that the Commission has been directed to issue by section 104 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, Public Law 110-314.
