Abstract: The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act, Public Law 110-140, (VGB Act), imposes certain requirements on public pools and spas. Public pools and spas are defined to include, in relevant part, pools or spas open exclusively to patrons of a hotel or other "public accommodations facility." Section 1404(c)(2)(B)(iii) of the VGB Act. The term "public accommodations facility" is not defined in the VGB Act. This interpretive rule would interpret the definition of "public accommodations facility" as this term is used in the VGB Act. | |
