Title: Amendments to The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993
Abstract: The Department of Labor proposes to amend the regulations implementing the Family and Medical Leave Act to incorporate amendments made by the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2010 and the Airline Flight Crew Technical Corrections Act. When initiated, this regulatory action was intended to be review revisions to the regulations implementing the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2008 military family leave amendments and other revisions of the regulations implemented in January 2009. Subsequent to the initiation of this action, Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2010 and the Airline Flight Crew Technical Corrections Act. As a result of the Congressional action the scope of this rulemaking has changed to implement the statutory amendments.
