Title: Transporter Proof of Delivery
Abstract: This rule will augment the receipt and acceptance process and facilitate Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) maintaining accountability of all DLA order fulfillments. Transporter Proof of Delivery Documents are delivery tickets or receipts provided by the deliverer of DLA provided supplies. These commercial tickets, e.g., FEDEX or UPS delivery receipts, are presented to the customer for receipt signature upon receipt of the delivered goods. These delivery tickets are then forwarded to the vendor of the delivered goods. The vendor then forwards these signed delivery tickets via the wide-area-workflow (WAWF) system, to DLA Financial Liaison Officers (FLO), where the material acceptance is made.
