Title: Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Privacy Program
Abstract: This part provides policies and procedures for the Defense Contract Management Agency's (DCMA) implementation of a Privacy Program under the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. It is DCMA policy that Individuals have a fundamental right to privacy and the expectation that this Agency, including contractors, will safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII) it maintains to the maximum extent practicable. This part reinforces that policy and ensures that DCMA shall balance the right of the individual to be protected against unwarranted invasions of personal privacy against agency need when setting any requirement to collect, maintain, use, and disseminate PII, ensuring that such activities are relevant and necessary to achieve a purpose required by statute, Executive Order or regulation.
