Title: Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies (DoDI 3025.ff) | |
Abstract: This rule provides specific policy direction and assigns responsibilities with respect to DoD support provided to Federal, State, and local civilian law enforcement efforts, including responses to civil disturbances. DoD shall cooperate with civilian law enforcement officials consistent with the needs of national security and military readiness, while recognizing and conforming to the legal limitations of direct military involvement in civilian law enforcement activities as prescribed in this part. | |
