Title: ●Commercial Airlines Plans; Pension Protection Act of 2006 
Abstract: This proposed rule would implement section 402(g)(2) of PPA, which applies to plans of commercial airlines that elect the 17-year funding relief under PPA and terminate within ten years of the election. For such plans, the amount of benefits guaranteed is fixed as of the first plan year to which the funding relief, with plan assets first allocated to the amount of guaranteed benefits lost due to the new rules.
