Title: Hospital and Outpatient Care for Veterans Released From Incarceration To Transitional Housing | |
Abstract: The Department of Veterans (VA) is amending its medical regulations to authorize medical and psychiatric care to a veteran in a program providing transitional housing (such as halfway houses) upon release from a penal institution, if the program expects participants to arrange for their own medical care.
