Title: ●Notification of Employee Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act
Abstract: The National Labor Relations Board has proposed a rule requiring all employers subject to the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to post in their workplaces notices informing employees of their rights under the NLRA. The rule would apply to labor organizations in their capacity as employers. The intended effects are to increase knowledge of NLRA rights on the part of employees, to better enable the exercise of those rights, and to promote compliance with the NLRA by both employers and unions. The proposed rule contains suggested provisions concerning sanctions and remedies that might be imposed if an employer fails to comply with the requirements of the rule.
