Title: DoD Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) Program 
Abstract: This part assigns responsibilities and provides procedures for members of the public to request a declassification review of information classified under the provisions of Executive Order 13526, as amended, or predecessor orders. Documents requested under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), section 552(b) of title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.) and 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 286 will be processed by the Department in accordance with title 32 CFR part 2001.
