Abstract: The Affordable Care Act amends the Social Security Act by requiring aggregate reductions to state Medicaid DSH allotments from FY 2014 through FY 2020. The annual reduction amounts are specified in statute and must be implemented using a DSH Health Reform methodology determined by the Secretary. This proposed rule will delineate the DSH Health Reform methodology required to implement the reductions. | |
