Title: Public Law 105-277, Making Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for FY 1999 Relating to Firearms Disabilities for Nonimmigrant Aliens 
Abstract: The Department of Justice is amending the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to implement certain provisions of Public Law 105-277, Making Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for fiscal year 1999. The amendments implement the law by prohibiting, with certain exceptions, the transfer to and possession of firearms by aliens admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa.
