Abstract: The Commission adopted part 49 to its regulations to implement section 21 of the Commodity Exchange Act, which was added by section 728 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Specifically, part 49 of the Commission's regulations establishes: registration requirements, statutory duties, core principles and cetain compliance obligation for registered swap data repositories.
