Title: Change in Definitions; Evacuation Pay and the Separate Maintenance Allowance at Johnston Island 
Abstract: The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is issuing regulations to clarify and incorporate specific information regarding benefits for parents, domestic partners, and children of domestic partners during an evacuation, or where the employee is assigned to Johnston Island, as a result of sections 1(a)(v) and (a)(vii) of the President's June 2, 2010, domestic partner initiative, Extension of Benefits to Same-Sex Domestic Partners of Federal Employees.
