Title: ●Hazardous Materials: Penalty Action Guidelines Update | |
Abstract: This rulemaking is in response to the enactment of MAP 21. Map 21 removes the minimum penalty amount for civil penalties, except the minimum penalty amount of $450 is retained for training violations. Further, it raises the maximum penalty amount for a knowing violation and a violation resulting in death, serious illness, or severe injury to any person or substantial destruction of property to $75,000 and $175,000, respectively. | |
