Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Revised Critical Habitat Designation for Comal Springs Invertebrates
Abstract: We will finalize our revised critical habitat designation for three invertebrate species--Peck's cave amphipod (Stygobromus pecki), Comal Springs riffle beetle (Heterelmis comalensis), and Comal Springs dryopid beetle (Stygoparnus comalensis)--pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. These invertebrates occur in spring-related aquatic habitats in Comal and Hays Counties, Texas. This action is being taken pursuant to a court-approved settlement agreement.
