Title: Special Immigrant Juvenile Petitions | |
Abstract: This rule makes procedural changes and resolves interpretive issues following the amendments mandated by Congress. It will enable juvenile aliens who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned and placed in State custody by a juvenile court, to obtain special immigrant status. Such status will regularize immigration status for these juveniles and provide the ability to adjust status to lawful permanent resident. | |
