Title: ●Enhancement of Protections on Consumer Credit for Members of the Armed Forces and Their Dependents 
Abstract: This advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) involves enhancement of protections on consumer credit for members of the Armed Forces and their dependents; the provision would also require the Secretary of Defense to develop a policy on the predatory extension of credit through installment loans that target members of the Armed Forces and their dependents. This ANPR requests input on the need to revise the DoD implementing regulation. The revisions to this rule are part of DoD's retrospective plan under Executive Order 13563 completed in August 2011.
