Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Whorled Sunflower, Gladecress, and Short's Bladderpod
Abstract: We will make determinations regarding listing for three plant species--whorled sunflower (Helianthus verticillatus), gladecress (Leavenworthia crassa), and Short's bladderpod (Physaria globosa)--pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. Short's bladderpod occurs in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Whorled sunflower is known from Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, and the unnamed gladecress is found in Alabama. All are current candidates for listing under the ESA. Proposed critical habitat is under RIN 1018-AZ60.
