Title: Promise Zones
Abstract: Through this action, the Secretary proposes a priority for projects that are designed to address the needs of the target population living in or attending schools in at least one community designated as a Promise Zone. This priority would be used for any appropriate discretionary grant program and is intended to focus Federal financial assistance on expanding the number of Department programs and projects that support activities to support these needs.
