Title: Federal Employees Health Benefits Program Eligibility Expansion to Certain Temporary and Seasonal Employees | |
Abstract: The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is issuing an interim final rule to expand coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program to temporary and/or seasonal employees who are expected to be employed on average at least 30 hours of service per week over the course of a twelve-month period. This regulation will make FEHB coverage available to these newly eligible employees in January 2014. | |
