Title: Energy Conservation Standards for General Service Fluorescent Lamps and Incandescent Reflector Lamps
Abstract: Amendments to the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA) established energy conservation standards for certain classes of general service fluorescent lamps (GSFL) and incandescent reflector lamps (IRL), and directed DOE to conduct two cycles of rulemakings to determine if GSFL and IRL standards should be amended (42 U.S.C. 6295(i)(3) and (4)). DOE completed its first review and published amended standards in July 2009. 74 FR 34080 (July 14, 2009). This rulemaking constitutes DOE's second review of energy conservation standards for GSFL and IRL.
