Abstract:

The proposed rule for this framework adjustment to the 2006 Consolidated Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan will consider the implementation of recent recommendations by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas that pertain to transfers at sea, international port inspection, and vessel identification, consistent with the Atlantic Tunas Convention Act, the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, and the 2006 Consolidated Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan and its amendments.
