Title: Miscellaneous Changes to Trademark Rules of Practice and the Rules of Practice in Filings Pursuant to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks 
Abstract:

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is amending 37 CFR (parts 2, 6, and 7) to clarify certain requirements regarding recognition for representation, identifying prior registrations, appeals, renewal applications, Express Mail correspondence, classification, and assignments. For the most part, the proposed changes are intended to codify existing practice.
