This proposed rule would update regulations applying to Family Violence Prevention and Services Programs, except for the Domestic Violence Prevention Enhancement and Leadership Through Alliances Program (DELTA), which is administered by the Centers for Disease Control. The notice of proposed rulemaking would implement recent statutory changes to the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act, update procedures for soliciting and awarding grants, and increase clarity regarding statutory and regulatory standards. The proposed revisions would build on standards already used by the program in funding opportunity announcements and awards, technical assistance, reporting requirements, and sub-regulatory guidance.
