Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Northern Long-Eared Bat
Abstract:

On October 2, 2013, we published a combined 12-month finding and proposed rule regarding making a listing determination for the northern long-eared bat (Myotis leibii and Myotis septentrionalis, respectively). We proposed to list the northern long-eared bat as threatened. The northern long-eared bat is found in much of the eastern and central United States, and in small portions of the western United States (38 States). In this action, we will make a proposed critical habitat designation regarding the northern long-eared bat. We address listing under RIN 1018-AY98.
