Title: Rights to Federally-Funded Inventions and Licensing of Government-Owned Inventions | |
Abstract: NIST proposes to amend the regulations implementing the Bayh-Dole Act, 35 U.S.C. 200 et seq., which concerns intellectual property arising from federally-funded research. Specifically, NIST is proposing to amend 37 CFR sections 401 and 404, and is seeking public comments on this effort. This action may be of interest to you if you are an educational institution, nonprofit organization or company, especially a small business that collaborates or would like to collaborate with federal government employees on technology research and development projects. | |
