Title: ●Elimination of Sunset Date for Attorney Advisor Program | |
Abstract:
This rule authorizes attorney advisors to conduct certain prehearing procedures and to issue fully favorable decisions. We now propose eliminating the sunset date for the attorney advisor program. The attorney advisor program helps reduce the agency’s backlog by processing claimant’s decisions more efficiently. Eliminating the sunset date will allow us to continue approving benefits quicker without the risk of the program ending. |
