Title: Negotiated Noncompetitive Leasing for the Use of Sand, Gravel, and Shell Resources on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) | |
Abstract:
This rule proposes to create a new part 583 to address the use of Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) sand, gravel, or shell resources for shore protection, beach replenishment, wetlands restoration, or use in construction projects funded in whole or part by, or authorized by, the Federal Government. The proposed changes to the rule codify the current procedures and describe the negotiated noncompetitive agreement process for qualifying projects. |
