Title: Valuation of Federal Coal for Advance Royalty Purposes
Abstract: This rulemaking would comply with a requirement of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which changes the way coal is valued on Federal leases for purposes of determining advance royalty in lieu of continued operations. This rulemaking would update the Office of Natural Resources Revenue's regulations to implement this change in the governing law.
