Title: Injurious Wildlife Species; Listing 10 Freshwater Fish and One Crayfish
Abstract:

We will make a final determination on our proposed rule to list 10 freshwater fish species and one crayfish species as injurious. All of the 11 species have a high climate match in parts of the United States, a history of invasiveness outside their native ranges, and (except for one species in one lake) are not currently found in United States ecosystems. Seven of these species are not now in trade, and the remaining four species have been imported in only relatively small numbers during the last several years. Therefore, this is a proactive approach to preventing an Asian-carp-type invasion, potentially saving millions of dollars.
