Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Amending the Listing for the Southern Selkirk Mountains Population of Woodland Caribou
Abstract:

We will make a final determination on our proposal to amend the current listing of the endangered southern Selkirk Mountains population of woodland caribou, to define a distinct population segment (DPS) consistent with our 1996 DPS Policy. We will make a final determination on the proposal to list as threatened the Southern Mountain Caribou DPS, which includes the southern Selkirk Mountains population of woodland caribou, a transboundary species between British Columbia, Canada, and northern Idaho and northeastern Washington.
