Title: Generic Provisions, Electronic Cigarettes | |
Abstract:
The rule would expand the definition of smoking at 36 CFR 1.4 to include the use of electronic cigarettes and other electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). This would allow park superintendents to close areas and locations to the use of ENDS under the existing smoking regulation at 36 CFR 2.2. With the growing use of ENDS and concerns about potential health impacts of ENDS vapor, National Park Service managers and employees need clear guidance on the use and management of these devices in parks. |
