Title: ●Freedom of Information Act Regulations
Abstract: This rule would revise the regulations the Department of the Interior follows in processing records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The revisions would clarify and update procedures for requesting information from the Department and procedures that the Department follows in responding to requests from the public. The driving force behind this revision is the recently-enacted FOIA Improvement Act of 2016.
