Abstract:
The Department of the Interior (DOI) proposes to amend its Privacy Act regulations to exempt certain records in the Physical Security Access Files, DOI-46 system of records from one or more provisions of the Privacy Act. The Privacy Act states that Federal agencies may promulgate rules to exempt a system of records from certain provisions of the Privacy Act. In order to meet the requirements of the Privacy Act, DOI must publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) and a System of Records Notice (SORN) in the Federal Register. |
