Abstract:
Executive Order 12250 delegated the authority to coordinate the enforcement and implementation of section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act by Executive agencies to the Attorney General. Pursuant to this authority, the Department proposes to revise its regulation implementing Executive Order 12250, 28 CFR part 41, to reflect statutory amendments to section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act made by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008. The proposed revisions to the Department's Federal Coordination regulation would be consistent with the proposed revisions to the Department's Federally Assisted regulation at 28 CFR part 42, subpart G. |
