Title: Amendment to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations: U.S. Munitions List Categories VIII and XIX | |
Abstract:
As part of the President’s Export Control Reform (ECR) effort, the Department of State proposes to amend the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to revise Categories VIII (aircraft and related articles) and XIX (gas turbine engines and associated equipment) of the U.S. Munitions List (USML) to describe more precisely the articles warranting control on the USML. This rule is being published in conjunction with a rule by the Department of Commerce (0694-AG76). The revisions contained in this rule are part of the President's Export Control Review, and this rule is part of the Department of State’s retrospective plan under Executive Order 13563. |
