Title: Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program Modification of Eligibility to Certain Employees on Temporary Appointments and Certain Employees on Seasonal and Intermittent Schedules | |
Abstract:
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) proposes to expand eligibility for coverage under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) to certain temporary, seasonal, and intermittent employees who are identified as full-time employees, as defined by the Affordable Care Act. In January 2015, these same employees became eligible for the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program under the FEHB modification regulation, 79 Federal Register 62325. This proposed rule would make FEDVIP coverage available to these newly eligible employees no later than January 2017. |
