Title: ●Pay Administration Under the FLSA 
Abstract:

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) will issue an interim final rule to mirror the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) final rule changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations (29 CFR 541) governing overtime determination and coverage which will be implemented December 1, 2016. OPM’s regulations are being harmonized with the Department of Labor regulations. To restore the effectiveness of the salary level test, the rule increases the standard salary level from $455 per week ($23,660 for a full-year worker) to $913 per week ($47,476 for a full-year worker) and establishes a linkage for future salary updates with Department of Labor regulations.
