Title: Agency Foreign Language Proficiency Awards Program | |
Abstract: The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) under the Agency's award authority, proposes to create regulations on payment of a cash award, up to five percent of basic pay, to any law enforcement officer employed in or under CSOSA who possesses and makes substantial use of one or more foreign languages in the performance of official duties. The Agency also proposes to include procedures under which foreign language proficiency shall be ascertained; the criteria for the selection of individuals for recognition for the award, and any other provisions which may be necessary to carry out this award. | |
